Implementing a new governance system in the National Gas Company, relying on the power of knowledge-based companies

According to Energy Press, Mohsen Mazloum Farsi-Baf stated today (Monday, November 12) at the event for the development of knowledge-based cooperation aimed at digital transformation in the gas industry, as the third event for the development of knowledge-based cooperation in 1404: We hope that this event will be the beginning of effective and successful actions on the path of technological transformation. The purpose of holding these events is not just a demonstration or gathering, but rather the implementation of a new governance system in the National Iranian Gas Company by utilizing the capabilities of knowledge-based companies and meeting the strategic needs of the National Iranian Gas Company.
Pointing out that in the first event, 29 goods and technological equipment were presented to knowledge-based companies, he said: We were able to use the capacity of knowledge-based companies to provide the strategic items and technologies needed for local technological development despite the oppressive sanctions.
The Director of Research and Technology of the National Iranian Gas Company, stating that the second event was held with the focus on establishing a smart system in the field of natural gas measurement and distribution, continued: “Before that, there was no real manufacturer of smart meters in the country, but today, thanks to the efforts of domestic knowledge-based companies, we have achieved world-class smart meter technology. Part of this project in the field of cybersecurity is being pursued and will be completed in cooperation with the Passive Defense Organization and the National Iranian Gas Company.”
