Implementation of 2 environmental projects in Gachsaran and Shadegan
The deputy of oil and gas projects management in the engineering and construction department of the National Iranian South Oilfields Company announced the successful implementation of two significant projects in the operational areas of Gachsaran and Shaddad, aimed at environmental protection, reducing pollution, and creating added economic value.

According to a report by Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oilfields Company, Hamid Toranjizadeh said on Wednesday (January 13) on the sidelines of the last day of the 16th specialized exhibition of oil equipment manufacturing in Khuzestan: “The project to complete the collection and transfer of water from the water-oil separation pools of the facilities to the Gachsaran desalination units in the Pazanan 2 complex, including the operation, pressure boosting, Pazanan 2 desalination, and NGAL 900 units, has been implemented.”

He added: “With the implementation of this scheme, all water from the water-oil separation pools in the four Pazanan 2 factories—operation, desalination, pressure boosting, and NGAL 900—is transferred to the wastewater system of the desalination unit, preventing environmental pollution.”

The deputy of oil and gas projects at the National Iranian Oilfields Company’s Engineering and Construction Management stated: “This project, after going through the tender process, was launched and became operational with an investment of 87 billion and 430 million Rials. It was carried out through the round-the-clock efforts of the project executor and the company’s employees, creating direct employment for 15 people.”
