According to Energy Press, Masoud Bagherzadeh, director general of the country’s Water Resources Planning and Budgeting Office, referring to the latest status of wastewater supply in the stock exchange, said: 1.6 billion cubic meters of wastewater are produced in the country, of which we have been able to hand over 7 million cubic meters to industries.
He added: Our first priority is to produce and supply wastewater to industries that previously had water allocations, so according to the law, we will cancel their water allocations and provide wastewater, which in a multi-year horizon will reduce a significant percentage of drinking water from industries and replace the wastewater.
