‏Ghalibaf: 25 to 30 million liters of petroleum products are smuggled out of the country daily

According to Energy Press, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, addressed the issue of smuggling of petroleum products in an open session of the parliament and said: “Between 25 and 30 million liters of products are smuggled out of the country every day, and there is no doubt that this smuggling is organized.”
He added: “Today, the sole importer of the product in the country is the government, and the producer of the product is also the government, and this is a completely exclusive matter. The production centers and main consumers are the first suppliers of this smuggling, and I say this with knowledge; shouldn’t we think of a solution?”
