Gas network fully prepared for winter; smartening and timely repairs are the focus of this year’s resilience

According to Energy Press, with the approaching cold season, the National Iranian Gas Company has taken a series of planned and coordinated measures to increase the stability of the gas network and the full readiness of operational facilities. Saeed Pakseresht, Integrated Planning Manager of the National Iranian Gas Company, explained the details of these measures and emphasized the vital role of precise planning, timely implementation of major repairs and the use of new technologies in improving the resilience of the network.
One of the most important steps taken by the National Iranian Gas Company in the past months and before entering the second half of the year has been to carry out major repairs at the right time and in the shortest possible time. These measures have increased the readiness of the complex for entering winter and prevented any interruption or delay in operational activities.
The Director of Integrated Planning of the National Iranian Gas Company, referring to the precise planning between different departments, including refineries and gas transmission lines, stated: This coordination resulted in the completion of the overhaul program of the operational units and facilities of the National Iranian Gas Company according to the set schedule and without even a day of delay.
Complete coordination of different departments
Pakseresht referred to the holding of numerous special meetings on winter fuel supply with the presence of Saeed Tavakoli, CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company, and stated: So far, five main meetings have been held in this regard, and the goal of these meetings is to create complete coordination between different departments of the National Iranian Gas Company to enter the cold season and ensure the readiness of all facilities and equipment in the country.
Referring to the weather forecast, he called the country’s gas production situation favorable and added: Although long-term weather forecasts are not reliable in intervals of more than two weeks, based on the activities carried out at the National Iranian Gas Company, the country’s gas production is at last year’s level and, if necessary, there is the ability to increase production capacity.
The integrated planning manager of the National Iranian Gas Company emphasized: The National Iranian Gas Company is in a favorable position in terms of production, refining and transmission, and is fully prepared for processing, sustainable transmission of gas and its distribution throughout the country.
Key consumption management strategy
Paksresht, referring to the importance of energy consumption management, stated: The issue of optimizing consumption requires continuous culture building so that it becomes part of society’s daily behavior. , Each citizen should be sensitive to energy consumption in their surroundings and consider saving energy in the use of heating or lighting devices as a national duty.
He explained: In addition to creating culture, the National Iranian Gas Company is also trying to provide consumers with high-energy-efficient devices.
The Integrated Planning Manager of the National Iranian Gas Company stated that one of the important plans in this regard is the supply and distribution of gas-fired heaters with high energy efficiency and stated: According to the resolution of the Supreme Economic Council, the supply of 4 million 100 thousand units of this type of heater is on the agenda of the National Iranian Gas Company.
Utilizing Carver Companies
Pakseresht stated: For this year, a contract has been signed to produce 1 million 700 thousand units, of which about 300 thousand units have been distributed and the rest will be distributed. At the same time, a review of engine rooms is also underway, and a significant number of these units have been evaluated and modified.
According to him, one of the company’s new plans is to implement the smart engine room project, which has been implemented in many buildings so far and is also on the list of development measures.
