Gas cut off to 272 government offices in Tehran due to lack of savings
According to Energy Press, citing Tehran Provincial Gas Company, Alireza Awani said: According to the notification of the National Iranian Gas Company, government departments are required to set the ambient temperature of the building to a maximum of 18 degrees Celsius and turn off engine rooms and heating systems one hour before the end of office hours.
He added: Special patrols for managing gas consumption of government departments in the capital visit various provincial organizations throughout the week during office hours and after office hours and carry out the necessary controls. For this purpose, more than 23,000 visits have been made by inspectors of the Tehran Provincial Gas Company since the beginning of November, which led to the disconnection of gas from 272 government departments that did not comply with the gas consumption pattern.
The CEO of the Tehran Provincial Gas Company stated: When inspectors visit government departments, if the comfortable temperature is not observed, they will first give a warning, and if they visit again, if they still do not comply with the consumption pattern, they will take action to disconnect the gas.
