Gas consumption pattern correction to be applied to subscribers’ bills from mid-November

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Gas Company, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi, referring to the resolution to amend the natural gas consumption pattern that was approved by the Cabinet in August, stated: Although the implementation of this resolution began in early October, due to the 45-day period for reading subscribers’ gas meters, these amendments to gas bills will be fully implemented from mid-November. He stated that with the implementation of new household tariffs in October this year, more than 75 percent of household subscribers had gas prices of a maximum of 10,000 Tomans and about 94 percent of subscribers had gas prices of less than 50,000 Tomans. He continued: The new consumption pattern system is based on four steps, the first step includes subscribers within the consumption pattern, the second step includes average subscribers, the third step includes high-consumption subscribers, and the fourth step includes very high-consumption subscribers.
