Gas consumption increases at the end of the week
The Deputy Minister of Oil for Gas Affairs said: "According to the predictions made on Thursday and Friday this week, gas consumption will peak, which shows the need for consumption management."

According to Energy Press, Saeed Tavakoli, in the 22nd meeting of the Domestic Winter Fuel Committee, attended by the staff directors and CEOs of provincial gas companies, stated that starting today, the air temperature in the country, especially in the central plateau, will be at least 12 degrees colder, and asked the CEOs of provincial gas companies to continue to apply restrictions and manage consumption in coordination with the National Iranian Gas Company’s dispatching center.
He also stated that, considering the predictions made that indicate peak gas consumption on Thursday and Friday of this week, I ask you to continue interacting with the governors so that we do not face the problem of pressure drop or gas outages in any part of the country.
He continued: It is important to note that if you are currently witnessing stable conditions and good pressure in the national gas network, this is the result of effective network management and the interaction and cooperation of all institutions and people with the National Iranian Gas Company.
Tavakoli continued, adding: “In this case, given the persistence of cold in some regions, especially in the northwest and northeast of the country, you may face serious problems. However, despite the persistence of widespread cold throughout the country, thanks to God and the round-the-clock efforts of our colleagues in various departments of the National Iranian Gas Company, the country’s gas network is providing stable service to its compatriots without any problems or gas outages.”
