Gas consumption in the domestic sector reached 659 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, a study of the consumption pattern shows that the share of the domestic and commercial sectors in the country’s gas network has been on an upward trend with the increase in cold weather, so that according to statistics from the National Iranian Gas Company, gas consumption in the domestic, commercial and small industrial sectors reached 659.26 million cubic meters on Tuesday (January 2).
The major share of gas consumption in the country continues to be related to the domestic and commercial sectors, which face increased demand in the cold season of the year. In contrast, other consumer sectors, including power plants and major industries, have allocated a smaller share of the delivered gas.
