Fuel oil quality improvement plan at Tehran Refinery

According to Energy Press, Abbas Mohseni Nikogoftar told reporters today (Sunday, March 16) that Tehran Refinery has started one of its key projects aimed at providing water through the transfer and treatment of urban wastewater. He said: This project, with a daily production capacity of 52,000 cubic meters of water, has reached 89% physical progress and is scheduled to be put into operation in three phases. The first phase will be completed in Farvardin, the second phase in Khordad, and the third phase in Shahrivar 1404. He stated that with the full launch of this project, a 1.5% saving in Tehran’s drinking water consumption is expected and Tehran Refinery will be completely free from dependence on urban water. He said: The supplied water, after being treated by the RO system, meets the specific needs of the refinery. This water is of high quality and is designed to be suitable for the refinery’s sensitive equipment.
