For the first time in the country, Hengam launches technical and vocational training in petrochemicals
With the signing of a quadrilateral memorandum of understanding between the country's Technical and Vocational Education Organization, Hengam Petrochemical on behalf of Persian Gulf Holding, Bushehr Governorate, and Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Organization, the first technical and vocational training center for advanced and supplementary oil, gas, and petrochemical skills will be launched at the initiative of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group and named "Persian Gulf".

According to Energy Press, citing Hengam Petrochemical Public Relations, the signing ceremony of this memorandum was held in the presence of Hojjatoleslam Musa Ahmadi, Chairman of the Parliament’s Energy Commission, Gholamhossein Mohammadi, Deputy Minister of Labor and Head of the Technical and Vocational Education Organization, Mohsen Biglarbeigi, Head of Hengam Petrochemical and Assistant and Advisor to the CEO of Persian Gulf Holding, officials of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone Organization, Rasoul Rostami, Deputy Economic Officer of the Bushehr Governorate, and officials of the Assaluyeh County Governorate.
Based on this memorandum of understanding, this center, which will be launched with the proposal of Hengama Petrochemical in line with fulfilling its social responsibility and the emphasis of Dr. Mohammad Shariatmadari, CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Group, the pursuits of the country’s Technical and Vocational Education Organization, and with the financial costs being provided by Persian Gulf Holding and the building being provided by the South Pars Special Economic Zone, will become an educational hub for the oil, petrochemical and gas industry, and this measure will be a step towards reducing social harm, reducing unemployment and helping to empower the local community. At this ceremony, the Deputy Economic Minister of Bushehr Governorate thanked Biglar Beigi, Head of Hengama Petrochemical, for proposing the establishment of this center, and emphasized: Based on the existing indicators, the oil, gas and petrochemical complex had a very good cooperation in creating school infrastructure in the city and throughout the province; However, based on the findings, the quality of education in the Assaluyeh region is not at all commensurate with the infrastructure. We have serious shortcomings in this area, and the launch of this center could be a serious step towards addressing this deficiency.
