Former member of the Iranian Parliament:

For another 100 years, we have no resources left

For another 100 years, we have no resources left
Hedayatullah Khademi, a former member of the energy commission in the parliament, said: I am worried about the people of the next hundred years of this country who want to live in this land. We have not left any resources for them and we have not invested their capital with which future people can live.

According to Energy Press, Hedayatullah Khademi believes that the weakness of the Ministry of Oil has opened the door for other institutions to sell the country’s oil to buyers. While the current managers should not take ministries and posts and outsource their work!

In the continuation of the series of discussions regarding the examination of the points of fear and hope of the government’s decision to hand over the sale of the country’s oil to non-governmental organizations; Hedayatullah Khademi – Chairman of the Association of Oil and Gas Drilling Companies and a former member of the Energy Commission in the Islamic Council, emphasizing that the sale of oil is a specialized work that the Ministry of Oil has been doing for years and it was not a problem, he noted: Sanctions, concentration and monitoring of known administrative and traditional channels have increased a bit and created problems. Various ways to solve this problem were predicted, but they were not enough to meet the needs of the country. For this reason, other institutions came into being.
He explained: Due to the connections these institutions have, they can facilitate the sale of oil, and the related institutions of other countries can also influence their government or companies. It is enough to place an order and the oil will be sold. Not that it is not possible to monitor the oil that is sold through these institutions, but they ignore it and do not monitor them. In a way they know it’s going on but they don’t stop it, causing oil to eventually sell.
According to the head of the Association of Oil and Gas Drilling Companies; If the country’s situation was normal, we would have said that this is not a principled thing, but in the current situation, especially with the situation of the Ministry of Oil, which is functioning very poorly, if it were not for these institutions, perhaps this amount of oil would not have been sold.
Non-governmental organizations have their duties, not selling oil
But the oil ministry is weak…
Khademi added: Maybe if there were others in the same situation, apart from the current Ministry of Oil, they could arrange for the oil to be sold through negotiations and with the connections that existed, and we would say that these institutions came to help at most. But these institutions must fulfill their duties. When they saw that the Ministry of Oil was not able to attend, they announced their readiness to help. Sometimes we see that the budget is not given to them and we, being a single product country, give them oil for the budget that we should give them. But this was the duty of the Ministry of Oil, which could not do it. Like a code lady who has a guest and cannot do the work, the neighbors come to her aid, but to what extent they act compassionately is another matter and it is possible that other problems may arise.
