A fire has broken out in a storage tank for petroleum products at the Naftkan oil depot, and efforts to extinguish and contain the fire have begun. A fuel tank in southern Tehran was also hit by a projectile.

According to Energy Press, a few minutes ago, one of the oil product storage tanks in the Kan oil depot caught fire, and the extinguishing and containment operations have begun.

Investigations show that the situation is under control, and the Ministry of Oil announced in this regard that the amount of fuel in these two tanks was not high and the situation is completely under control.
The text of the Ministry of Oil’s announcement is as follows: “Following the recent aggressions, the Shahran oil depot and a fuel tank in southern Tehran were targeted by the infamous Zionist regime. Immediately after the incident, operational and rescue forces arrived at the scene. According to initial reports, the amount of fuel in these two tanks was not high and the situation is completely under control. Additional information will be announced later.”
