Extensive operations to maintain the health of southern gas transmission lines
The Director of Region 6 of Gas Transmission Operations, emphasizing the need to maintain maximum stability of gas transmission in the southern routes of the country, announced: The monitoring operation of 255 kilometers of pipelines was carried out simultaneously with the participation of the Iranshahr, Kerman, and Sirjan operation centers.

According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Gas Transmission Company, Hamidreza Bani-Asadi said about this operation: “These operations include the monitoring of 104 kilometers of the 20-inch Iranshahr-Palizan line, 42 kilometers of the 16-inch Palizan-Khash line, 60 kilometers of the 10-inch Rawar line, and 47 kilometers of the 8-inch Kiskan-Lalehzar line.” He continued: “In these operations, technical teams, using modern monitoring technologies and fully complying with safety requirements, conducted an internal assessment of the lines, identified corrosion-prone areas, and ensured the mechanical health of the pipes so that gas transmission in key routes in the south of the country can continue with maximum stability and reliability.”
