Export of 535 million dollars of goods from Iran to Iraq
The customs supervisor of Iran's Ilam province announced the export of 535 million dollars of goods weighing 973 thousand tons to Iraq through Mehran border.

According to Energy Press, Sohrab Kemari, head of Iran’s Ilam Province Customs, said on Monday, referring to the growing trend of exports at the Ilam Province Customs, that $535 million worth of goods weighing 973,000 tons have been exported through the international border of Mehran.

Kemari added: The ratio of this amount of export of goods from the border of Mehran was almost equal to the same period of the previous year.

He reminded: The main export goods from Mehran border include all kinds of power plant equipment, agricultural products, petrochemical products, building materials, ceramic tiles, metal artifacts and plastic containers.

The customs supervisor of Iran’s Ilam Province stated: In the mentioned period, 672 temporary exit permits were issued for heavy trucks and other goods, which shows a 231% increase compared to the same period last year.
