Ensuring safe and sustainable production at the South Pars Gas Complex next winter
The head of the South Pars Gas Complex Site 2 deputy announced the implementation of extensive programs to increase production, improve operational flexibility, reduce flaring, and improve employee accommodation infrastructure, and said: "With the measures taken, the complex's safe and sustainable production will be guaranteed next winter."

According to Energy Press, citing the South Pars Gas Complex Company, Hassan Asadi stated that great strides have been made this year to develop, increase production, and optimize operations at the refineries of the complex. He added: “With the start of major repairs in the first phase of the ninth refinery in accordance with the approved plan and following the pathologies performed, a specialized major repairs working group has been formed for effective management of the process. In this regard, delegating authority to refineries, increasing supervision over the implementation of preventive repairs, and strict adherence to the schedule are emphasized.” He expressed his satisfaction with the creation of an atmosphere of cooperation, assistance, empathy, and teamwork in the refineries of the South Pars Gas Complex, and said: “The results of this synergy were tangible last winter, and the development path will continue with this approach.” The Head of the South Pars Gas Complex Site 2 Deputy Director stated: Focusing on the full implementation of corrective actions resulting from root cause analysis meetings for refinery emergency shutdowns, conducting periodic repairs of critical equipment including turbocompressors, turbogenerators, turboexpanders, boilers, and desalination plants are among other ongoing programs.
