Energy consumption in public sectors should reach 50% of current consumption

According to Energy Press, the First Vice President’s information base, Mohammad Reza Aref, stated in a meeting with members of the Reform Front of the Southwest of Tehran Province: “Today we have many problems, but there is no doubt that the government’s strategies have been successful. We believe in preventing inflation while boosting production and correcting imbalances.” He referred to the imbalances and added: “It is much less expensive for the 14th government to continue on the current path, but we have a duty to think about the future generation. We cannot spend all the oil money we extract and leave nothing for the future generation.” The First Vice President continued: “We will no longer allow electricity and gas to be cut off during the best working hours of the industry. Rather, we have started the work from government and administrative agencies and we are resolute in this direction. We will reprimand all government managers who have excess consumption.”
