Energy Commission Member: Iran-Russia Meeting Was a Decisive Response to Sanctions
A member of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly considered the meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission a valuable opportunity to increase the level of economic diplomacy and a tooth-crushing response to sanctions.

According to Energy Press, Mansour Shokrollahi, in an interview with Shana, referred to the 19th meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission and stated: Iran and Russia have extensive capacities for cooperation in various sectors, including oil and energy.

He pointed out that the 19th meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission will pave the way for the development of relations between the two countries in various fields, adding: Economic and energy diplomacy has a special status in the current situation, and we hope that in the future, as this field becomes more active, we will witness the country’s status being enhanced.

The member of the Parliament’s Energy Commission stated: Iran and Russia are strategic partners of each other, and expanding cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector can be fruitful and be considered a decisive response to sanctions.
