Electricity of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan will become one network

Regarding the possibility of exporting renewable electricity to the three countries of Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan, he said: On April 16, when the Minister of Energy of Turkey came to Iran, he had a request to cooperate with them in the field of renewable energy and also exchange electricity with transit countries.

The head of the International Center of the Ministry of Energy noted that the works and negotiations of the electricity exchange between Iran and Turkey have started and the complete information will be announced in the next two months.

Akbari said: By using the back-to-back line, we can connect the city of Van-Khoi for electricity exchange, which requires legal and contractual foundations. Now we follow these requirements and legal bases.
