According to Energy Press, Cambyz Nazerian said in a press conference today and in response to ISNA’s question about the issuing of bills and fines for high-consumption customers, policies have been planned with the priority of incentives, but we also considered programs for high-consumption customers, so that the cost of the electricity bill For this category of subscribers, it is calculated in a staggered manner.
He continued: Subscribers who consume more than twice the model, i.e. their electricity consumption is more than 600 kilowatt hours, will be charged 3.5 times the cost of the electricity bill.
The CEO of Tehran Bozor Electric Power Distribution Company stated that the subscribers who have unconventional consumption will pay non-subsidized costs, stating: In Tehran, three percent of subscribers have consumed more than twice the standard electricity. Subscribers who consumed more than 1000 kilowatt hours of electricity are included in this category, which includes half of the total subscribers and they mostly live in large units or villas.
According to the observers, an average of 2 million tomans bills were issued to this category of subscribers, but in the meantime, we had subscribers who consumed electricity equivalent to 20 subscribers, and their number was 200 subscribers, and 15 million tomans bills were issued to these people.
He stated: 1,550 Tomans per kilowatt hour has been calculated for subscribers who consume more than 600 kilowatt hours of electricity.
Stating that the amount of savings made up to this date is 225 million kilowatt hours, he said: 41% of the subscribers were entitled to the savings bonus and some of them also received credits.
According to him, the number of invoices and bills issued in Tehran that were subject to the saving bonus was 2 million 650, which accounted for 250 billion tomans.
The managing director of Tehran Electric Power Distribution Company stated that one out of every two household subscribers received a savings bonus and said: The average savings bonus in each bill is 100 thousand tomans.
