Domestic gas consumption reached 590 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Hassan Mousavi, referring to the increase in cold weather in this fall and winter, said: Yesterday (Monday), 68 percent of the sweet gas delivered to the national network was consumed in the domestic, commercial, and small industries, which is an increase of 10 percent compared to the same day last year. He added: In total, 862 million cubic meters of sweet gas were injected into the national line yesterday, of which 590 million cubic meters were consumed in the domestic, commercial, and small industries. After the cold weather and the forecast of a decrease in temperature, President Masoud Pezzekian, Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad, and a group of country officials invited people to participate in the “2 degrees less” campaign by publishing visual or written messages with the aim of optimal consumption and providing winter fuel.
