Domestic and commercial gas consumption reached 621 million cubic meters

According to Energy Press, a study of the gas consumption pattern in the country’s nationwide network shows that the share of the domestic and commercial sectors remains high and the increase in demand continues during the peak days of the cold season.
According to statistics from the National Iranian Gas Company, gas consumption in the domestic, commercial and small industrial sectors reached 621 million cubic meters on January 3, which does not show much change compared to previous days; despite this, the domestic and commercial sectors still account for a major share of the country’s gas consumption.
The National Iranian Gas Company has emphasized: Consumption management in the domestic and commercial sectors plays a decisive role in the sustainability of the network and meeting the needs of other sectors. The company has asked subscribers to ensure the continued stable supply of gas throughout the country by observing optimal consumption and saving patterns.
