2.5 times more gasoline is consumed in Iran compared to the rest of the world

According to Energy Press report, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated in the public session of the Islamic Council today, Monday, during the review of the chapter related to energy and the table for setting quantitative goals of Kurdish energy in the fields of oil and gas: We predicted in this table that the production of gasoline will reach 129 million liters per day, but now our daily consumption is 137 million liters per day, which means that according to this table, gasoline production is less than daily consumption.
He continued: We must have a plan in the Islamic Council to optimize fuel consumption, even now we have a five to six percent increase in consumption, so that we even consume 2.5 times more gasoline than industrialized countries. The solution is to Stop bad consumption.

In the end, the Chairman of the Islamic Council said that all the points in the energy season should be taken into account, currently the consumption of gasoline is more than the production.
