Details of the $17 billion South Pars Pressure Boosting Project Contract
Today, the National Iranian Oil Company signed one of the largest contracts in the history of the oil industry with Petropars, Khatam al-Anbia Construction Headquarters, OIC, and MAPNA, worth approximately $17 billion.

According to Energy Press, Hamid Borde, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, today (Saturday, March 8) in the presence of President Masoud Pezheskian, Minister of Oil Mohsen Paknejad, Musa Ahmadi, Chairman of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, and a group of senior managers and members of parliament, signed seven contracts for the South Pars Pressure Boosting Project (Seven Hubs) with Hamid Reza Saghafi, CEO of Petropars Group, Brigadier General Abdolreza Abed, Commander of the Khatam Al-Anbiya Construction Headquarters, Saeed Khoshroo, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Pension, Savings and Welfare Funds of Oil Industry Employees, and Mohammad Olia, CEO of MAPNA Group.
According to these contracts, Petropars Company is to implement Hubs 1 and 7 worth about $4.8 billion, Khatam al-Anbia Construction Headquarters Hubs 3 and 6 worth more than $4.9 billion, Petroleum Industries Engineering and Construction Company (OIC) Hubs 2 and 5 worth about $4.8 billion, and MAPNA Group (Nairpars Company) Hub 4 worth more than $2.36 billion. The total contract value of these seven hubs will be about $17 billion.
Zoning of the Boosting Plan in the South Pars Joint Field
Based on the details provided, each boost hub in this plan includes several phases and areas, such that Hub One includes phases 12A, 11B, 12B and 11A, Hub Two includes phases 15, 16, 3 and 21, Hub Three includes phases 1, 5, 17 and 18, Hub Four includes phases 2, 19C, 19AB, 20 and 6, Hub Five includes phases 13AB, 10, 13BD and 14AC, Hub Six includes phases 11, 22, 24A, 23, 24B and 14BD, and Hub Seven includes phases 4, 7, 8 and 9 of South Pars. Based on this contract, 14 gas boost platforms are to be defined, constructed, installed and commissioned for the phases of South Pars.
