Deputy Oil Minister Admits to 350 Million Cubic Meters of Gas Unbalance
In today's press conference, the Deputy Minister of Oil announced the stable supply of gas to petrochemicals last year without complete interruption and announced that despite an imbalance of 300 million cubic meters of gas, the Ministry of Oil's careful planning has increased power plant reserves by 60 percent this year.

According to Energy Press, Saeed Tavakoli, CEO of the National Gas Company, referring to the energy imbalance in the country, estimated the gas shortage at between 300 and 350 million cubic meters. He added that in the winter of 1403, provincial crisis management and inter-regional coordination prevented gas outages.
Also, the fall of 1402, as the warmest fall in the last 50 years, created challenges beyond the government’s control. Nevertheless, the Ministry of Oil has increased power plant reserves by more than 60 percent this year compared to last year with careful planning.
He also announced that last year, petrochemical gas was not completely cut off, and only restrictions were imposed on gas supply. Currently, there are no restrictions for petrochemicals and gas is being supplied in full.
