Deputy Chairman of the Energy Commission: Arbitration of pricing of petrochemical ancillary services is the way to development

According to Energy Press, in an interview with Shana reporter, Ramzan Ali Sangdevini stated that arbitration in the pricing of petrochemical ancillary services, if implemented transparently, is a necessary institutional reform that both reduces conflicts and helps attract capital. He stated: Development, investment, and injection of stray financial resources into the petrochemical industry will undoubtedly increase job creation; therefore, the path to attracting capital must be facilitated.
He added: Arbitration in the pricing of petrochemical ancillary services will lead to increased investment in this industry.
The deputy chairman of the Parliament’s Energy Commission considered pricing arbitration in the petrochemical industry a solution for further development of this industry and added: Increasing predictability for investors and, of course, reducing conflicts of interest and contractual disputes between utility suppliers and consumers are among the positive effects of this arbitration.
