Deployment of crisis teams in Khark to protect oil facilities

According to Energy Press, according to Iran Oil Terminals Company, after Bushehr province’s crisis management announced the occurrence of weather emergencies in the province, the necessary preparations to face the possible dangers caused by heavy rains and strong winds in Khark Island were started with the highest level of operational readiness.
Abbas Asdroz, the senior commander of passive defense and crisis management of Khark Island, was stationed on Khark Island from Wednesday 26 December with the aim of field management of operations, direct monitoring of the process of preventive measures and increasing coordination between different units, and at the same time, special operational teams were formed in order to prevent the occurrence of operational accidents in Khark oil terminal facilities.

With the onset of heavy rain and the intensification of wind in the past days, various work fronts were deployed in sensitive and vital parts of the Khark oil terminal facilities, and control measures, equipment security, continuous monitoring of infrastructure conditions and emergency management were on the agenda around the clock.
