Delivery of 874 million cubic meters of natural gas to the national network

According to Energy Press, Seyed Hassan Mousavi, spokesman for the National Iranian Gas Company, announced the delivery of 874 million cubic meters of natural gas to the national network yesterday (Tuesday, February 2), of which 651 million cubic meters were consumed in the domestic, commercial, and small-scale industries.
Stating that the volume of gas consumption in the domestic, commercial, and small-scale industries increased by 20 percent yesterday compared to the same day last year, he added: 74 percent of the total gas delivered to the national network was allocated to this sector.
After the cold weather and the forecast of a decrease in temperature, President Masoud Pezzekian, Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad, and a group of country officials invited people to participate in the “2 degrees less” campaign by publishing visual or written messages with the aim of efficient consumption and providing winter fuel.
