Completion of major repairs to gas platforms in phases 20 and 21 of South Pars

According to Energy Press, citing Pars Oil and Gas Company, Ali Adelinik, Head of Production Operations for South Pars Area 1 platforms, announced the news and said: The major repairs of the gas platforms of phases 20 and 21 of South Pars began on July 1 and ended on July 16 after a planned period of time.
Referring to the completion of 910 repair tasks on the SPD20 and SPD21 gas platforms, he said: 8,684 man-hours of safe and accident-free work were carried out to complete these tasks.
Stating that despite the intense heat and high humidity in the Persian Gulf, the overhaul teams carried out the repair tasks in the areas of inspection, mechanics, electricity and precision instruments without any incident, Adelinik stated: In this year’s overhaul program for the SPD20 and SPD21 platforms of South Pars, the repair activities were successfully carried out and these platforms were put back into production according to the specified schedule.
