Comparison of gas consumption in Iran and neighboring countries

According to Energy Press, in this info we have compared the gas consumption of Iran and neighboring countries. It should not be forgotten that more than 75% of Iran’s energy portfolio is allocated to gas and about 98% of the country is supplied with gas.
Iran, with a population of more than 87 million people, consumes 250 billion cubic meters of gas daily.
Türkiye, with a population of 85 million people, consumes 60 billion cubic meters of gas. There are more than 9 types of energy in Türkiye’s energy portfolio.
Iran’s neighbor Turkmenistan with a population of 6.5 million people consumes 30 billion cubic meters of gas daily.
Kuwait, another neighbor of Iran, with a population of 4.5 million, consumes 18.6 billion cubic meters of gas.
Iraq also consumes 18.9 billion cubic meters of gas with 43 million people.
Pakistan, with a population of 231 million people, imports 7 million tons of LNG per year.
Qatar, with a small population of 2.7 million people, consumes 47.4 billion cubic meters of gas daily.
Azerbaijan with a population of 10 million people consumes 12 billion cubic meters of gas daily.
