CEO of Central Regions Oil: Research and artificial intelligence are the driving force behind sustainable production in the oil industry

According to Energy Press, citing Iran Central Oil Company, Peyman Imani, CEO of the company, stated on Tuesday (December 15) at the ceremony to commemorate Research Week that research is the driving force behind sustainable development, increased production, and reduced costs, and stated: “In this company, scientific, technological, and innovative activities enjoy comprehensive support.”
He assessed the use of artificial intelligence as important in advancing and bringing research projects to fruition, and stated: “In the Research and Technology Unit of Iran Central Oil Company, we support creative ideas and research programs that produce science and discover new ways to solve, facilitate, and accelerate sustainable production activities in the oil industry.”
Research along with technology creates added value.
Seyed Mahdia Motahari, Director of Research and Technology at the National Iranian Oil Company, also mentioned technological field pilots as the main strategy of this management in this ceremony and said: “We are looking for this important thing to guide and operationalize research-based issues to technology and implementation in the fields, because research becomes added value for us when it is accompanied and aligned with technology.”
