The head of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly presented a report on the commission's actions in resolving the imbalance of electricity and gas and supplying fuel to power plants at a meeting of the commission, which was held in the presence of the speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the ministers of oil and energy.
The significant increase in the production and delivery of liquid fuel in the last four months, with careful and strategic management, has allowed the cold days of this year to pass with a stable supply of power plant fuel, without serious challenges in the country's energy supply.
In the first 9 months of this year, Bushehr Petrochemical succeeded in producing about 3 million tons of various petrochemical products and more than 547 million cubic meters of ancillary services.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the National Petrochemical Industries Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company to use the capacity of this petrochemical company in a campaign to reduce gas and electricity consumption by 10 percent in the domestic and commercial sectors.
