The Director of Energy and Carbon at the National Iranian Gas Company announced the development of a document to improve and modernize the brick industry in the country's brick production hub with a high share in gas consumption, and said: "About 300 cubic meters of gas are consumed to produce each ton of brick, but with changes in technology, this figure can be reduced to 27 cubic meters."
The Director of Production Control at the National Petrochemical Company considered the petrochemical industry's production in 1404 to be defensible despite the 12-day war, and listed the development of fields, the collection of flare gases, and investment in gas consumption reduction projects as among the petrochemical industry's solutions for providing sustainable food.

The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company emphasized that the dependence of about 73 to 74 percent of the country's energy portfolio on natural gas is not seen anywhere else in the world, and said: "By increasing power plant efficiency, developing renewable energies, and increasing the efficiency of industrial equipment, the dependence of the country's energy portfolio can be gradually reduced."
Iraq, which has sought to increase its natural gas supply and end severe electricity shortages, has faced a major obstacle. Its plan to import gas from Turkmenistan via a pipeline through Iran has failed to win approval from the United States.
An international affairs analyst said: "By strengthening energy cooperation between Iran and Russia, we can achieve the elimination of the country's energy imbalances in the winter."
The Deputy Managing Director of the National Iranian Drilling Company for Drilling Projects announced the completion of drilling operations for the second development well of the 6-well project in the Yadavaran joint field, saying: "After becoming productive, this well was handed over to the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company for exploitation."

A member of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: A meeting of the headquarters to eliminate imbalances on the issue of energy supply and winter fuel was held with the presence of the deputy ministers of oil and energy.
