The Ministry of Oil announced that by implementing 12 new flare gas collection contracts, in addition to reducing pollution and saving national resources, 180 million cubic feet of light gas per day will be added to the production cycle. This measure is part of the country's energy consumption optimization program and addressing the country's energy imbalance.

A number of members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly positively evaluated the performance of the Ministry of Oil in controlling flare gases and stated: "The 14th government has taken effective measures to reduce the waste of this national capital."

The executive of the Azar Oil Field Development Plan said: "With the announcement of the readiness of the Cheshmeh Khosh Gas and Liquefied Gas Plant (NGL 3100) to receive high-pressure gas from early November, the Azar Oil Field Development Plan has taken an important step towards the sustainable and optimal exploitation of associated gases, and the fourth-tier compressors for boosting the pressure of this field have entered the operation circuit."

The Minister of Oil said: "The amount of gas delivered to the network has increased by about 6.7 million cubic meters per day, and oil and gas reserves in power plants have also increased by 130 percent. In light of these efforts, we are entering the cold season this year with very favorable conditions."

A follow-up meeting on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission was held with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Oil and representatives of executive agencies. The meeting emphasized accelerating the implementation of the approvals, removing obstacles to cooperation, and preparing for the 19th Joint Commission by the end of the year.

Turbopump No. 3 of the Persian Gulf Oil Terminal's crude oil export terminal was successfully repaired with the efforts of the terminal's expert staff.

The Director of Coordination of Gas Supply Affairs at the National Iranian Gas Company announced: "The new natural gas pricing system, in addition to supporting low-consumption and low-income groups, creates the necessary incentive to save and optimize consumption in unproductive economic sectors, and this is an important step towards sustainable energy supply and achieving justice in the distribution of subsidies."

The spokesperson for the National Iranian Gas Company announced that the implementation of the resolution to amend the natural gas consumption pattern has begun in early October, saying: "Since the period for reading subscribers' gas meters is 45 days, the gas bill amendments will be fully implemented from mid-November."

The Investment Manager of the National Petrochemical Company emphasized that the government's duty is not to be an operator, but rather to be a policymaker and regulator, and said: "Global experience shows that the appropriate combination of government support and freedom of action for the private sector brings the best results in attracting capital and sustainable development."
