Bandar Imam petrochemical exports grew by 35 percent

According to Energy Press, citing Bandar Imam Petrochemical, this petrochemical complex, on the one hand, meets the vital needs of the domestic market, and on the other hand, by exporting part of its products, it contributes to strengthening foreign exchange earnings and economic development of the country under sanctions.
The export revenue of this complex has reached more than $650 million since the beginning of this year. This amount of revenue is the result of optimal utilization of production capacities and a targeted approach in international markets.
This December, this complex was able to generate $46 million in foreign exchange for the country by exporting 70,000 tons of products.
In 2023, Bandar Imam Petrochemical succeeded in exporting more than one million tons of products and played a key role in providing the country with foreign exchange resources.
