Azar Oil Field Pressure Boosting Project: Two Drilling and Installation Phases to Boost Oil Production
The opening meeting of the second phase of the Azar oil field development was held with the presence of senior managers; the goal of increasing daily production to 30,000 barrels was set.

According to Energy Press, citing the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company, Keyvan Yarahmadi announced at the opening meeting of the second phase of the development of the Azar oil field, explaining the goals of the new stage of development of this field, the executive plans and the budget for 2026: The Kick-Off Meeting of the second phase of the development and exploitation of the Azar oil field after the ratification and notification of the start of work contract was held on Tuesday, December 1, 1404, in the presence of Nasrollah Zarei, CEO of Metn Company, members of the company’s board of directors, the executive team and other key stakeholders of the project, and the goals of the new stage of development of this field were explained.
He added: In this meeting, the CEO of Metn Company emphasized the need to present the 2026 plan and budget as soon as possible, complete the relevant technical and contractual documents, as well as carefully plan to hold the first JMC meeting of the second phase so that the implementation of the project can begin in the shortest possible time.
The implementer of the Azar Oil Field Development Plan presented a report on the performance of the first phase of the Azar Field development and the activities carried out within the framework of the Preliminary Agreement (PAA) for the second phase, and outlined the outlines of the plans foreseen for the implementation of the new phase.
