Attracting investors to the oil industry plays an effective role in advancing development projects and the country’s economic prosperity

According to Energy Press, citing the Oil Engineering and Development Company, Nasrollah Zarei said on the eve of the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition: Considering the central slogan of this period of the exhibition entitled “Investment in the oil industry; a guarantee of economic growth and development”, this company, as the development arm of the National Iranian Oil Company, has always tried to play an effective role in advancing development projects and the country’s economic prosperity by attracting domestic and foreign investments.
Referring to the position of the oil industry in the country’s economy, he added: “Attracting investment in large oil projects, in addition to increasing production and optimal utilization of resources, leads to technological development, job creation and strengthening the country’s economic infrastructure.”
The CEO of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company pointed to the achievements of the company’s cooperation with domestic and international investors and stated: “In cooperation with reputable domestic and foreign companies, numerous projects have been implemented while observing the principles of safety, quality, and appropriate timing, and these interactions have led to the transfer of technology and the optimal exploitation of the country’s oil resources.”
