At Persian Gulf Petrochemical Holding, we had more than one million tons of product increase
According to Energy Press, Ali Askari, the CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Holding, said: In 2023, we had an increase of more than one million tons of production in Persian Gulf Petrochemical Holding, which is partly due to the improvement of efficiency and a large part due to new projects.
Ali Askari added: So far this year, we have inaugurated two pending mega projects, one of which is the Huizeh refinery, which today collects more than 15,000 barrels of polluting gases from the flare and supplies 72,000 methane to the grid.
The CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Holding stated: Another mega project is Gachsaran, which seeks to produce 1 million tons of ethylene, and this project was delayed for nearly 17 years.
He added: A complex project with 11 different epc works is currently in the pre-launch stages, and the third project, when it is one of the prides of the country and the Persian Gulf Holding, will be put into operation in 2023, and he intends to invite the honorable president for the launch. The first phase is when (ammonia).
In the end, he noted: In the Persian Gulf oyster project (industrial rubber), which has been delayed since 2019, it is hoped that its commissioning will be carried out by March this year.
