Annual production capacity of petrochemical projects reached 7 million tons

According to Energy Press, citing the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone Organization, Akbar Pirbadli Samrin, explaining the latest status of active investment projects, stated: Currently, 58 projects are being implemented in the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone, including one upstream project, 18 midstream projects, 16 downstream chemical projects, 9 environmental projects, four downstream non-chemical projects, and 10 service projects. He pointed out that these projects are located in a total area of ​​​​over 1 million and 658 thousand square meters, adding: Their annual production capacity reaches 7 million and 96 thousand tons per year, which play an important role in the development of the country’s petrochemical industry value chain.
