An increase in air heat and the possibility of an increase in electrical accidents

According to Energy Press, Reza Kefili, Director General of Engineering and Management of Tavanir Electricity Network, referring to the increase in temperature and the increasing growth of electricity consumption in the country during the peak days of this year, announced the increase of 6,000 megawatts in the consumption of the network compared to the previous year, which caused various incidents. It has resulted in different levels of the network.

The Director General of the Network Engineering and Management Office of Tawanir Company associated the heat of the air and the sharp growth of electricity consumption with limitations that range from the power outage of a single subscriber due to the burning of the cable or the fuse of the distribution post to the power outage of a neighborhood due to the power cut of the 20 kV feeder and widespread accidents. Water in the upstream distribution networks has caused a power outage in a part of a city or village.
