The CEO of Hengam Petrochemical in an interview with "Energy Press":
Ammonia unit has reached 100% production capacity
According to the Energy Press report, Gholamreza Jamshidi, the CEO of Hengam Petrochemical, pointed out that Iran’s urea industry was able to exit the Turkish market and said: Iran’s urea was sent to the world through the Turkish market for many years. But with the synergy that was created between the urea producing companies, policies on selling and shipping prices, etc., we managed to remove Iranian urea from the Turkish market, which had become a special market for the country, and export it to the markets of South America, Europe and Africa.
He said about Hengam Petrochemical: This plan was left on the ground for years, but with the appointment of Ali Askari in the Persian Gulf Holding, it was carefully planned. At the moment, the petrochemical ammonia unit in Hengam has reached 100% nominal capacity and has produced 20,000 tons. The company’s urea unit will also be put into operation next year according to the schedule.
