Alvand drilling rig ready to join Iran’s offshore oil fleet after major repairs

According to Energy Press, citing the Iranian Offshore Oil Company, a meeting of the working group to accelerate the implementation of the Alvand offshore drilling rig overhaul and management project was held with the presence of Salman Khosravi, Deputy CEO in the Kish operational area.
In this working group, which was formed with the aim of removing obstacles and improving the project’s implementation processes, Mohammad Ranjbar, Kish region manager, while appreciating the comprehensive support of the CEO of the Iranian Offshore Oil Company, presented a report on the project’s progress.
Given the presence of the project’s executive management group in this meeting, solutions were discussed regarding the acceleration of various processes and decisions were made regarding the joining of the aforementioned rig to the drilling fleet in the near future.
