Accelerating the development of Aban and Paydar Gharb oil fields by signing two new drilling contracts

According to Energy Press, citing the National Iranian Oil Company’s information website, the executive of the Aban and Paydar Gharb oil fields development plan stated about the details of these agreements: According to the first contract, 2 drilling rigs will be provided to the project for one year to carry out drilling operations. The second contract, which has a period of five years, is dedicated to providing integrated drilling services and has been concluded with the aim of simplifying, optimizing and improving productivity in the drilling operations of the Paydar Gharb field. Sirous Aghajari added: The conclusion of these contracts, while accelerating the development process of the Paydar Gharb field, is a manifestation of synergy and constructive cooperation between companies active in the country’s oil industry. This measure also emphasizes the determination of the project management for the sustainable and long-term exploitation of the country’s joint oil fields and strengthening the national production capacity in the energy sector.
