According to Energy Press, citing Bandar Imam Petrochemical, this achievement, which was achieved in line with the realization of the New Bandar Imam Program, has come to fruition after targeted planning and investment. To produce this strategic product, fundamental changes were made in the reactor system from parallel to series, and new equipment, including butane tanks and injection routes, was also launched.
Due to its ability to produce thin and resistant films, this grade has wide application in the packaging, health and agricultural industries, and the quality of the produced product is even higher than foreign samples. This success is not only an important step for the country’s self-sufficiency, but also has provided the possibility of exporting to target markets such as Iraq and Turkey, and the country’s dependence on imports of this strategic product is also reduced with this achievement.
