A significant decrease in renewable water per capita in the country
The spokesperson of the country's water industry said: Considering the decrease of one billion cubic meters of water from renewable sources every year, it can be said that in the last 30 years and with the decrease of 30 billion cubic meters of water, the country's per capita renewable water has decreased significantly.

Referring to the unprecedented increase in the air temperature of the country this summer and the direct impact of this on the volume of the country’s water resources, according to Energy Press, Firoz Ghasemzadeh said: every 10 years, Iran’s air temperature usually increases by half a degree, and the same with the decrease 10 billion cubic meters of water available in the country comes from renewable sources.
In this regard, he added: Considering the reduction of one billion cubic meters of water from renewable water resources every year, it can be claimed that in the last 30 years, with the reduction of 30 billion cubic meters of water, the country’s per capita renewable water has decreased significantly.
