Splits consume 9 times more electricity than evaporative coolers

According to Energy Press, Seyyed Mehdi Hosseinipour, referring to the widespread advertisements for the sale of Splits or compression cooling systems, pointed out the ineffectiveness of these devices in normal areas of the country such as Yazd, Tehran, Isfahan, etc. and said: due to the 10-11% humidity in provinces like Yazd doctors also do not recommend using gas coolers.
He pointed out that Splits will reduce the air humidity due to their performance to create coldness, he added: Splits have a high energy consumption and these coolers consume approximately 5 to 9 times more energy than evaporative coolers, and They will not have energy efficiency.
Hosseinipour further stated: Air conditioners do not have the appropriate level of efficiency due to the fact that they are mainly imported from illegal sources, and this is also a factor for the increase in electricity consumption of these devices.
This expert stated that the production of high-efficiency evaporative coolers has become mandatory and explained: the topic of optimal evaporative coolers started as a trial version with 7 thousand units in Yazd province, and of course it should be determined for each province what type of cooling system will be suitable and It has the best performance.
