Parliament: Ministry of Oil has weathered the winter with record gas production in South Pars

According to Press, in an interview with Shana, Mohammad Rashidi, referring to the performance of the oil industry in maintaining the stability of the gas network during the cold days of this year, stated: Although the sanctions have created problems for the oil industry, by the grace of God and by relying on domestic capabilities and the specialized, experienced and skilled forces of the Ministry of Oil, and despite the unprecedented consumption of gas during this winter, the country’s gas network has remained safe and stable so far. He emphasized the need to appreciate human capital and domestic capabilities and stated: The unprecedented increase in gas production in South Pars showed that even in the most difficult conditions of sanctions, there is the capacity in the country to maintain our energy independence and not be dependent on foreigners.
