The second day of the Iran-Russia Joint Commission begins
Negotiations of the specialized working groups of the 19th Iran-Russia Joint Commission began on the second day of the meeting in Tehran. In these intensive meetings, the final document (agreement) of the 19th Commission will be drafted.

According to Energy Press, the 19th Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation between Iran and Russia will continue its work today (Tuesday, February 18) on its second day of activity, with the presence of delegations from different agencies of the two countries at the Kushk International Conference Center, and negotiations related to the preparation and compilation of the main document of the commission will be held. According to Seyyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi, Deputy Minister of Oil for International Affairs and Trade, during this period, specialized meetings will be held by the two sides in 16 separate working groups.
One of the most important issues pursued in these working groups is the review of the progress of the implementation of previous understandings and finding specific solutions to overcome existing challenges. Accordingly, yesterday, the specialized working groups in the fields of “space”, “scientific and educational cooperation”, “tourism” and “regional” ended their work by reaching complete understandings.

Also, other working groups such as “Customs”, “Energy (Oil and Gas/Electricity/Nuclear)”, “Finance (Finance/Banking/Investment/Stock Exchange/Taxation)”, “Industry, Trade, Standards, Metrology, Business Circles”, “Housing”, “Transportation”, “Water and Environment”, “Labor and Social Welfare”, “Culture, Arts, Education and Youth”, have held intensive meetings since yesterday, and the parties are continuing their negotiations today to reach a full agreement.
