Increasing gas extraction from the joint South Pars field

According to Energy Press, citing Pars Oil and Gas Company, Ali Asghar Sadeghi, referring to the progress of the executive operations and the readiness of Phase 13 of the South Pars Joint Field to record a new stage of gas extraction, stated: Phase 13 of South Pars, relying on domestic power and new experiences in recent years, is now in a position that can play a more effective role in the sustainability of the country’s gas production.

He added: With the efforts and redoubled efforts of the project’s colleagues, the final connection operation of a new well to the process facilities of one of the offshore platforms of this project was successfully completed and this well was put into production.

The executor of the Phase 13 development project of the South Pars Joint Field, referring to the detailed planning carried out for the implementation of this operation, added: By adopting executive measures and full coordination between the operational and support departments, the duration of the platform’s production stoppage was reduced to the minimum possible, which is unique in its kind.
