Iran sets new record for gas transmission during peak winter consumption

According to Energy Press, in an interview with Shana reporter, Peyman Khadraei stated that the increase of 4 million cubic meters of gas transmission compared to the previous record recorded on January 13 of this year (882 million cubic meters) was the result of technical measures and intelligent management of gas flow in pipelines.
Emphasizing the key role of transmission infrastructure in the sustainability of fuel supply, he added: By utilizing a huge network consisting of more than 40,000 kilometers of pipelines, 95 pressure boosting facilities and 62 operation centers, we were able to maintain the transmission flow without interruption during peak gas consumption.
The CEO of the Iranian Gas Transmission Company stated: This success demonstrates the high efficiency of pressure control systems and online monitoring of the status of lines in managing fluctuations in consumption in various sectors.
