What is the percentage of gas consumption in Tehran province?

According to Energy Press, Alireza Awani stated in a press conference today: We have 45 cities in Tehran province, which includes a total population of about 13 million 637 thousand 267 people, equivalent to 16.6% of the total population of the country.
He added: According to statistics, 5.19% of the network in Tehran province is estimated to be about 11% of sales and 13% of subscribers. Studies indicate that about 11% of gas is consumed by subscribers in Tehran province. In total, 551 villages are covered by gas supply, and about 99.6% of rural households have benefited from these facilities.
According to him, the company has taken measures in three areas: strengthening and sustainability of the gas network, monitoring and controlling subscriber consumption, and comparing consumption for the winter and cold season. More than 80% of gas network safety projects have progressed against earthquakes, and the design and implementation of emergency shutdown systems and SCADA systems are among the measures that have been implemented with the aim of reducing secondary risks such as fire and explosion in critical situations.
